Capital at the Source: Build Her A Future and the Milanese Table of Circular Regeneration

Sustainable fashion has never lacked conviction. What it has lacked, more often than not, is capital that understands where value is actually made: in the hands of the women who spin, dye, weave, repair and resell, frequently far from the capitals where investment decisions are taken. Build Her A Future Circular Academy & Consulting (BHAF-CAC) was founded to close that distance.

From grassroots empowerment to institutional structure

Build Her A Future began as a movement for women's economic agency. Its evolution into a circular academy and consulting firm marks a deliberate shift: from goodwill to structure. BHAF-CAC trains women entrepreneurs in circular business models, helps small enterprises formalise, and builds the bridges that connect them to buyers, institutions and investors.

The ambition is stated plainly — to train 60,000 women and help formalise 1,000 small and medium enterprises by 2030. It is the kind of number that only becomes credible when education, market access and finance are designed together rather than in isolation.

Why circularity needs its own capital

Regenerative fashion and sustainable textiles rarely fit the templates of conventional finance. Their returns are slower, their supply chains more distributed, their impact measured in soil, water and livelihoods as much as in margin. BHAF-CAC argues that this is not a weakness to be excused but a model to be financed on its own terms — patient, informed and rooted at the source.

Circular Capital Salons Milano

That conviction takes form in Milan. On Friday 6 November 2026, from 09:00 to 11:30, BHAF-CAC and IRMA host Circular Capital Salons Milano at La Corte Romanengo, Via Caminadella 23 — an invitation-only investment platform for regenerative fashion, sustainable textiles and circular capital.

The format is intentionally intimate: a private breakfast for twenty guests. Investors, fashion institutions and founders sit at one table, where projects are presented, questions are answered directly and relationships can begin without the noise of a conference hall. Partners include the Milano Fashion Institute, kinara., RD and NYUNGU AFRIKA.

A table worth joining

At JAANTE, we believe the most durable relationships in fashion begin in small rooms. Circular Capital Salons Milano embodies that belief: capital listening to craft, and craft given the means to grow. Attendance is by invitation; requests can be addressed to contact@buildherafuture.com. Learn more at buildherafuture.com.
