1. Welcome to JAANTE

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the JAANTE website, marketplace introductions, academy programmes, community spaces and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By browsing, applying for membership, creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you accept these terms.

2. Who we are

JAANTE is a fashion agency founded by Julie Atenda, with editorial and operational presence in Brussels, Zurich and Kinshasa. For questions about these terms, contact legal@jaante.com.

3. Using the Services

You agree to use JAANTE only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the platform. You must provide accurate information when applying, registering or submitting content, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

4. Membership and applications

Membership is curated and subject to approval. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Membership fees, benefits and renewal terms are described in the separate Membership Terms.

5. Marketplace introductions

JAANTE Marketplace is a B2B introduction and wholesale enquiry platform. We do not process payments or hold inventory on behalf of maisons or buyers. Orders, contracts, shipping and payment terms are agreed directly between the parties. See the Marketplace Terms for details.

6. Intellectual property

All editorial content, images, trademarks, logos and visual identity on this site are owned by JAANTE or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any material without our prior written consent. User-submitted content remains the property of the user, but by submitting it you grant JAANTE a non-exclusive licence to display, edit and promote it in connection with the Services.

7. Editorial judgement

JAANTE exercises independent editorial judgement in curating brands, stories, academy content and community features. We may remove or decline content that does not meet our standards, without liability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, JAANTE is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €100 if no payment has been made.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for operational reasons.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
