Karen Vogt
High-end, modular leather goods — having one bag is having two.
The story
Women's lives are evolving; their handbags are too. A handbag can no longer be merely practical or solely beautiful — it needs to be both at once. Karen Vogt's concept, "From single to double", builds every model to transform: a backpack that becomes a tote, a tote that becomes a shoulder bag or a clutch, a cross-body that turns into an evening pouch. One bag, two capacities, several functions — to go from a working day to an improvised evening.
Founder
Karen Vogt
After several years designing bags and pouches for the beauty industry, Karen Vogt considered her own needs and those of the women around her, and decided to launch her own house in Paris. Her eye for the details that make a difference shapes bags that are timeless yet contemporary, feminine and practical.
Craftsmanship
Full-grain calfskin, cotton twill linings (plain or an exclusive orange-and-black print), YKK Excella zips and gold or nickel hardware. Le Pragmatique, Le Généreux, L'Impeccable, L'Espiègle and L'Indécise are built to unzip, detach and clip onto one another.
Sustainability
Bags are made with high-quality leather from the dormant stock of top leather-goods houses, sourced from ICEC-certified tanneries audited against LWG and REACH standards. Using materials already produced limits overproduction, and collections are released in limited editions.
