On the eastern coast, three generations of the same family cast The World of Indah's signature pieces using the lost-wax method — cire perdue — a technique unchanged since the Majapahit era. A wax model is dressed in fine clay, fired until the wax runs out, then filled with molten recycled silver. Every piece emerges warm, unique, sometimes bearing the ghost of a fingerprint from the sculptor. What the workshop cannot recycle from previous batches is sourced from certified ethical suppliers in Yogyakarta.
