Made Wirawan

Silversmith — Ubud, Bali

A third-generation silversmith working from a family compound on the Campuhan ridge, Made Wirawan casts many of The World of Indah's cuffs and rings. He learned granulation and filigree from his grandfather before his tenth birthday and now trains four apprentices — two of them women, unusual in a lineage historically transmitted father to son. His signature is a nearly invisible dot of pure silver soldered inside every cuff — a taksu mark that only the wearer knows.

Ni Luh Sari

Wax sculptor — Sanur

Ni Luh Sari carves the wax models from which the lost-wax lineage in Sanur is born. She works from botanical references — frangipani petals, banyan leaves, jasmine buds — pressing wax against real plants to translate their veining into silver. Coco Effendi met her in 2016 and now co-designs the Purnama and Gaia lines with her.

Wayan Arta

Stone-setter — Ubud

Wayan Arta specialises in the setting of raw, uncut stones — a technique The World of Indah favours over faceted gems. Working at a bench that has held four generations of his family, he selects each stone individually for a piece, never the reverse, so that no two Indah rings are alike.
