The story
Q.Lavine is a Greek accessories house built on a single gesture: painting by hand. Authentic Panama hats in paja toquilla, structured hats, bags, envelope clutches, shoes and jackets are each hand-painted, so a motif — an eye, a bee, a bird of paradise — arrives on the piece rather than on a print run. Sizes and ribbons are specified piece by piece, and the same motif is offered across a range of colourways.
Craftsmanship
Hats are built on paja toquilla or carton, hand-painted, then finished with a grosgrain ribbon and an inner band; care is deliberately simple — a fresh cloth. Panama silhouettes are offered in S to XL, structured hats in 57, 59 and 61.
