AZALËA

Prime homewear for women and children — comfortable enough for home, elegant enough for life.

The story

Azalëa Prime Homewear was born from a simple need: versatile, comfortable garments that move from the bedroom to the living room without ever feeling unglamorous. Printed silks — roses, poppies, jungle and python motifs — are cut into shirts, shorts, camisoles and long shirt-dresses, with matching mother-and-daughter pieces. Azalëa sells season-wise rather than chasing trends: clients buy what they want, when they wish.

Founder

Berivan Özcan

Mother of three children under six and a businesswoman, Berivan Özcan rarely found clothes that were both beautiful and comfortable. She spent a year working with partners and manufacturers to make the collection right — "Here's to strong women: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them."

Craftsmanship

The women's collection is made of fine Italian fabrics; the children's collection uses organic, GOTS-certified, bamboo and OEKO-TEX fabrics from the USA, Italy and France. Production takes place with a partner manufacturer in North Macedonia.

Sustainability

No child labour; women at the partner factory receive paid maternity leave with their jobs kept for them, plus pensions and insurance. Labels in recycled polyester, reusable organic-cotton bags and FSC-paper hangtags. 1% of web sales is donated to two organisations helping refugees in Greece.
