Giuseppe Marconi

Giuseppe Marconi shapes the wooden lasts on which every Rossano pair is built. He has carved lasts since 1974, first for larger Italian houses, now exclusively for a handful of small maisons. Each Rossano silhouette — Santo, Edoardo, Armando — begins as a beechwood block on his lathe; corrections are made by eye and by hand, referring to a foot-shape ledger he has kept for five decades.
